So hei\u00dft der gro\u00dfe Fluss, der durch London flie\u00dft. Er m\u00fcndet in die Nordsee und hat noch einen weiten Weg bis dorthin. Und trotzdem gibt es Ebbe und Flut. Das hei\u00dft; w\u00e4hrend der Flut steht das Wasser etwa 7 Meter h\u00f6her als bei Ebbe, wie jetzt. Man sieht die feuchten Mauern an den Seiten und kleine Stra\u00dfen und Wege die nach sechs Stunden im Wasser verschwinden. In Greenwich steigen wir aus. Hier ist auf einem Berg ein Observatorium und dort soll auch der ber\u00fchmte Null- Meridian sein, bei dem die Erde in Ost- und Westh\u00e4lfte getrennt wird. Doch bevor wir dort ankommen, entdeckt Peti das Schiff seiner Jugendtr\u00e4ume, die Cutty Sark, mit dem fr\u00fcher Tee bef\u00f6rdert wurde. Viele spannende B\u00fccher hat er \u00fcber dieses Schiff gelesen, das heute ein Museum ist, in dem es \u00a0interessante M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr Kinder gibt, sich damit vertraut zu machen. Ich k\u00f6nnte euch viel dar\u00fcber erz\u00e4hlen, aber die Zeit reicht heute nicht, denn ich m\u00f6chte nat\u00fcrlich auch ein Foto auf dem ber\u00fchmten Null- Meridian \u00a0machen.
