Barbara: Ich habe lange nichts erz\u00e4hlt von B\u00e4rly, Valy, Bine und dem alten Donnerstag. Vornweg: es geht allen gut. Donnerstag wird im M\u00e4rz 21 Jahre alt! Das ist sehr alt\u00a0 f\u00fcr eine Katze. Er h\u00f6rt nicht mehr gut, aber er frisst prima und will jeden Tag gestreichelt werden. Den Winter mit Schnee vermissen alle vier nicht. Valy hat, wie jeden Winter, ein dickes Fell wie ein Kragen um den Hals. Das findet sie richtig doof, weil die Pflege so anstrengend ist. Ihr kennt doch das Wort: Katzenw\u00e4sche. Wir Menschen verstehen darunter, eine kurze schnelle W\u00e4sche. Nicht so die Katze. \u00a0\u00a0Hauskatzen wenden viel Zeit f\u00fcr die Reinigung ihres Fells auf, so etwa 2 bis 3 Stunden t\u00e4glich. Dabei reinigt die Katze ihr Fell mit der Zunge und Speichel, wobei die kleinen Noppen auf der Zunge unterst\u00fctzend wirken. Zur Reinigung des Gesichts verwendet die Katze die Vorderpfoten, die zuvor abgeleckt werden. Ich helfe Valy\u00a0 bei der Fellpflege mit einem Spezialkamm f\u00fcr lange Haare und zwei Massageb\u00fcrsten. Das liebt sie. Valy ist froh, wenn sie im Fr\u00fchsommer das lange Fell verliert und der Kragen kurz und pflegeleicht ist.<\/p>\n

B\u00e4rly vermisst den Schnee auch nicht. Er beobachtet vom Balkon aus die Spatzen an ihrer Futterstelle und sucht die W\u00e4rme der Heizung. Bine macht es \u00e4hnlich. Morgens nach dem Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck rennt sie in den Hofgarten und „joggt“ ein paar Runden. Da werden Bl\u00e4tter gejagt oder Kastanien, die noch vom Herbst dort liegen. Nach einer Weile, kommt sie rein, redet mit mir und geht schlafen. Katzen schlafen bis zu 16 Stunden am Tag. Zusammengerollt oder lang gestreckt, suchen sie sich einen Lieblingsplatz und ruhen aus. Meine vier wechseln oft den Schlafplatz, so ist es manchmal ein Platz im Schrank oder auch in einem Pappkarton. Der Nachbarkater schl\u00e4ft am liebsten im Waschbecken.<\/p>\n

Es ist ganz sch\u00f6n schwer, sie auseinander zu halten. Verwechselst du sie manchmal, Barbara?<\/p>\n
